On 26 December 2025, a team representing Noritake Lanka Porcelain (Pvt) Ltd. (NLPL) carried out a CSR cleanup at the Management Faculty of the University of Peradeniya, which was affected by the Ditwa cyclone.
Organized by the NLPL Eco Club, led by Mr. Chiran Lekamge, the initiative saw active participation from senior management, including Senior Director Mr. T. C. Thennakoon, Director/General Manager Ms. Sujatha Egodagedara, and Assistant General Manager Mr. Athula Senarath.
The team, supported by Factory Engineer Mr. Sankha Samaraweera and two Floor Care staff, used high-pressure guns, a 5 kVA generator, PPE, and other cleaning tools provided by NLPL.
The operation ran from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM and successfully restored key areas of the faculty, showcasing NLPL’s commitment to community support and recovery efforts.
